Taking a leap of faith and courage. Applied to be a juror for the East Coast Music Awards for 2023. I was fortunate to be accepted and as such was invited to attend the festivities in person. I was so nervous and unsure about going - for so many reasons (the expense, being on my own, feeling like an outsider…) However, this is where the leap took place and I bought the plane ticket and had a fabulous time in Halifax May 2023!!

So honoured to meet Dr. Maggie Paul and her daughter Ann Paul. A full circle moment because Dr. Paul shared about her connection with Jeremy Dutcher and how her knowledge of language inspired him on his JUNO award winning album, Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa.
