Biography

Kimberly Arnold was born in London, Ontario. However, she has spent much of her adult life living in Northern Ontario and has called Elliot Lake her home. She has felt privileged to raise her two children in such a beautiful part of the country. Much of the inspiration for her music has been drawn from the life experiences and stories she and her family have shared over the past 26 years.

Since attending Canadian Music Week, (Toronto 2017) and becoming a member of CARAS, Arnold has immersed herself in learning about the music Industry. With a special focus of learning about sync licensing in Canada and the U.S.

Kimberly Arnold’s first experience in the studio came with her album Underneath The Apple Tree, recorded in Nashville in 2015. She would go on to record two more projects in Nashville over the next five years. Her second album My Christmas Wish, was launched to streaming platforms in November 2018 and included four classic songs in the public domain and four original Christmas songs. Arnold’s third album From The Heart: A Tribute To Rita MacNeil, grew out of a desire to share the amazing music and incredible life story of Canadian music icon, Rita MacNeil. Research for this project inspired Arnold to develop a live tribute show. Arnold thrilled audiences and Rita MacNeil fans alike, at her sold out shows in the Northern Ontario towns of Blind River and Elliot Lake.

Arnold is continuing to work towards her goal of licensing her music to sync opportunities in TV, Advertising and Film. However, one inspiring result of the COVID-19 pandemic has been the opportunity to work remotely to record music with producers in Nashville/U.S.A, United Kingdom, South Africa and across Canada. Arnold is quick to acknowledge that modern technology and having greater access to recording equipment has made it easier to record music as an independent artist. Listeners can hear her music on digital streaming platforms.
